I would bet that you're reading this on your smartphone or tablet. Did you know that using your phone may be adding pounds of pressure to your neck? When you bend your head forward just 30 degrees, it can add up to 40 pounds of pressure on your neck. That would be like carrying around 4 bags of potatoes on your head.
How to manage "Text Neck"
1. Keep phone at eye level; refrain from tilting head forward.
2. Take regular breaks.
3. Stand up straight, good posture with your shoulders pulled back will help keep your body aligned in a neutral position.
